Pumpers

The Marthasville Fire Department operates 4 Pumper trucks, one out of each station and a reserve pumper housed at Station 1. The primary function of a pumper truck is to flow water for fire suppression. Each pumper carries 2250 feet of hose and tools for fire suppression such as ladders, axes, and self-contained breathing apparatuses. In addition to fire suppression activities, the department’s pumper trucks are capable of vehicle extrication with their portable hydraulic rescue tools.
